Pedal Board

"My beaten down yet trusty pedal board is basically the control centre of my guitar set-up. With the Rivera Head-master I send midi-signals to my Diezel amps (They are completely midi switchable. Channels, loops, master volume, inserts et cetera) and at the same time to my TC-electronics G-Force. So when I want to switch from a clean sound with a little reverb to an insane high gain sound with long delays I can do that just by pushing one switch with my foot.
The whole pedal board is powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2. It is located beneath the yellow gizmo. The Pedal Power can power 9 - 14,5 volt stopboxes with 60 - 250mA. Because of the Pedal Power I only need one power cable.
The yellow gizmo is a Lehle D.loop which I use to send my signal to my amplifier (no loop activated), my Korg 19" tuner (loop B activated (send only) and for putting my Digitech Whammy Pedal (the red pedal) in between my signal path (loop A activated). When I activate loop b I can tune my guitar in silence or change my guitar without having to worry about any unwanted sounds like a big 'plop' followed by a nasty hum...
The orange pedal is a MXR costum shop phaser. It's basically a normal MXR phaser but in a Wahwah casing. Rocking the power back and forward changes the speed of the phaser effect which is really cool when doing leads or atmospherical chords and volume swells. The effect is activated just by putting the weight of your foot on the pedal so there is no loss of time or nasty popping sounds when you activate the effect. A commen complaint with Dunlop type Wahwah's.
Talking about popping sounds brings me to my favorite innovation in the guitar effect universe since the discovery of controled tube distortion. I'm talking about G-lab's True Bypass Wah Pad!!! This aparatus will make your Wahwah so easily accesable!! By putting weight on the wah-pedal the guitar signal moves through the Wahwah and into your amp. By lifting your foot of the Wah-pedal the signal no longer runs through the Wahwah but it is bypassed. There is no need to push down unto the Wah-pedal to activate it anymore because it is always on, it's just not in the signal path if you're not using it!
Brilliant! No pop's, no strugling to turn on the Wahwah and NO signal loss because the Wah Pad is true bypass. (What is true bypass? It is a switching method where, in the bypass mode, the signal goes directly from the input jack through the switch to the output jack with no connection to the circuitry in the box. In effect, it is a straight wire through the box and does not degrade the signal because there is only the micro-ohm resistance of the jacks, wires and switches inline with the signal. Finally the Digitech Whammy. I use it for wild high or low pitches and sometimes as a harmonizer. You can get really creative with this pedal! I also use it as a back-up plan when I break a string during a guitar solo. I just switch on the Whammy and make crazy noises.... It beats switching guitars while you're in the spot light! That just looks like you've given up..
I am currently working on a new and insane pedal board with some amazing features. I'll keep you guys posted!"
